Shakuntala Devi Movies Review: The film depicts the life of Shankotla Devi not only in mathematics but also as a woman and mother. The goddess Shankotla is portrayed as a fearless and free-thinking woman who lives her life according to her own conditions. The dialogue in Vidya Balan's film 'I will never lose, always remember' may reflect Shakuntala Devi's overconfidence, which led to her losing the Lok Sabha elections against Indira Gandhi in her lifetime and losing badly. Thus, Shakuntala Devi can easily solve math problems but her personal life is completely confused.
He said that the first half of the film is busy, which is fun and entertaining. Vidya Balan is completely immersed in her role and she has given excellent performances. Vidya Balan's make-up was widely shot after she left for London. In the film, Shakuntala Devi's husband Pritosh Banerjee is played by Jashu Sengpat and he is very good in his role. Sania Malhotra as Anupama and Amit Sadh as Anupama's husband have done justice to their roles. Director Anu Menon has portrayed the life of Shakuntala Devi very honestly in the film. The film was well-received in the 1950s and 1960s. The music of Sachin Jaggar is good in the film.
